It has been a while since we had an opportunity to update this section. The reason being is that we have been extremely busy. Our largest customer kept us busy for about 19 months with deliveries of our specialized parts processing equipment and several new designs thrown in for good measure. All were delivered on time and are running smoothly in their various plants throughout the USA, Europe and Asia.
We just wrapped up the design, fabrication and installation of an entire production machine for a local customer in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This machine mated together their existing form welding machine and a press to produce parts at an incredible rate. Previously their form welding machine produced between 12k and 14k parts per 8 hour shift but their output was slowed because each part had to be handled in a small press to complete the process on it. It would take between 6 and 8 personnel working on small presses two 8 hour shifts to complete the parts before the next process. Our machine mated the form welder and a larger press. We picked up the parts as they exited the form welder, conveyed them overhead to a downslide and feed them into a forming/cutting mechanism on the press which completed the part. Their throughput increased substantially while shedding substantial cost. The machine ROI was less than 6 months. Recently they just added a second and third shift to keep up with the new orders since they were able to decrease their price to beat their competition.
We are now in the process of building a second machine for a customer in Chicago. This machine makes a very specialized cut on a very well known catalogue at a rate of 30 per minute. You probably have one of these catalogues on your reference bookshelf in your office.
Not only is our customer base growing but CES is growing too. We've added additional electrical and mechanical personnel to our staff so we can meet the demand for our equipment.
